în muzicologie


Pentru a se scrie despre Dr. Ruth Guttman Ben Zvi (născută Schonblum), drumul parcurs până în prezent, nu-mi ajunge spaţiul rezervat, dar este o mare bucurie pentru mine că numele domniei sale va apare în publicaţia noastră, „Revista Mea”, după o întrerupere destul de îndelungată.
Dr. Ruth Guttman Ben Zvi este o supravieţuitoare a progromului de la Iaşi, care a traumatizat-o din frageda copilărie.
Din tinereţe manifesta o dragoste deosebită pentru desluşirea tainelor muzicii şi, astfel, după terminarea liceului, o vom găsi la Facultatea de Muzicologie din cadrul Conservatorului „Ciprian Porumbescu” din Bucureşti.
Mânată de o dragoste deosebită pentru muzică, încă de pe băncile facultăţii, sub pseudonimul Raluca Ioanid, semnează consecutiv materiale de specialitate în săptămânalul „Contemporanul”, gustate cu mult interes de publicul meloman. Dar ea nu se limitează doar la publicarea unor relatări de specialitate, o găsim şi semnând montaje muzical-literare la Radio Bucureşti.
Una dintre apreciatele apariţii la Radio Bucureşti, a fost concertul de clarinet şi a quartetului cu pian de Aron Copland, mult mai târziu autorul, fiind oaspetele Israelului, a avut cuvinte de laudă la adresa competenţei şi talentului criticului muzical Dr. Ruth Guttman Ben Zvi.
Cine a avut ocazia să citească criticile muzicale semnate de domnia sa, a constatat că toate au fost scrise cu mult talent, cu dragoste şi sensibilitate, pentru care muzica înseamnă deschidere spre absolut, comunicare deplină cu semenii şi cu divinitatea.
O lungă şi intensă carieră de critic muzical a făcut-o martora şi comentatoarea unor evenimente artistice marcante şi a interesantei evoluţii a artei sunetelor în a doua jumătate a secolului XX.
Prima parte a vieţii a trăit-o în România, apoi în Israel, Franţa şi, la sfârşit, din nou în Israel, unde va semna multe critici muzicale în presa ebraică şi română.
Datorită talentului ei, a fost invitată şi a luat parte la numeroase festivaluri din Europa, America şi în Israel.
Aici, mai mult ca oriunde, cronicile fie în limba ebraică, română semnate de criticul, muzicologul dr. Ruth Guttman Ben Zvi au dovedit maturitatea, reuşita, integrarea în viaţa israeliană şi competenţa profesională recunoscută.
Datorită unor critici competenţi şi interesaţi, printre care şi eroina relatării mele, muzica care a trăit milenii, însă fără un suport ce asigura durabilitatea, persistenţa a ieşit, în sfârşit, la lumină, atrăgând marea masă de iubitori ai muzicii, dar în special ceea ce poartă semnătura unor mari compozitori. Muzica a fost şi rămâne arta sufletului, a sensibilităţii, fermecătoare, încântătoare, vehiculatoarea intimităţii personale, chiar şi a marilor sentimente colective.
Cunoaşterea intensivă şi extensivă a veritabilei realităţi muzicale israeliene a fost unul din elementele decisive în alegere domniei sale ca Directoare a activităţii muzicale din cadrul Muzeului Tel Aviv, începând cu anul 1975.
Continuând să „cotrobăiesc” în biografia domniei sale am găsit că, în virtutea obligaţiilor familiare, pleacă cu familia la Paris, unde are ocazia să se perfecteze şi mai mult, datorită vieţii de concert din alt unghi decât al auditoriului.
Întreaga perioadă de şedere la Paris a avut o influenţă considerabilă asupra activităţii de viitor în scrierile critice. În octombrie 1981 revine în Israel şi este invitată să semneze cronica muzicală a ziarului MAARIV, pe atunci cel mai răspândit cotidian israelian.
Devine repede binecunoscută în desluşirea tainelor sunetelor muzicale şi, în anul 1987, când Orchestra Filarmonică israeliană îşi sărbătoreşte a 60-a aniversare, găsim numele şi prezenţa criticului muzical dr. Ruth Guttman printre cei consemnaţi ca oameni valoroşi ai tribului şi întregului nostru popor.
Dr. Ruth Guttman Ben Zvi semnează, mai târziu, valoroase critici muzicale în cotidianul ebraic HATZOFE, fondat în anul 1937. Aici o găsim permanent la rubrica „Musica Klasit”. De data aceasta se adresează unui public tânăr, adânc ancorat în cultura iudaică, atras de muzică bună sub toate formele.
Pentru fructuoasa sa activitate este răsplătită cu nenumărate diplome, premii, ultimul fiind cel ce poartă numele lui I. Gooper, în decembrie 2013.
Ceea ce a rugat să consemnez, în relatarea mea, este că întreaga sa activitate profesională s-a desfăşurat alături şi în umbra tovarăşului ei de viaţă. ITZHAC, ŢICU, omul care, cu inteligenţă şi îndrăzneală, asumându-şi, uneori, riscuri enorme, şi-a înfăptuit visele din tinereţe, a fost unul dintre cei mai însemnaţi oameni de ştiinţă, care a construit avioane pentru patria evreilor.
Cu ani în urmă am avut ocazia şi bucuria să scriu despre viaţa şi realizările sale în rubrica mea, „Oameni care ne fac cinste”.
Din păcate, anul trecut acest tovarăş scump de viaţă, la bune şi rele, a plecat în lumea umbrelor, după multe zile de suferinţe, lăsând un mare gol în inimile familiei şi a celor care l-au cunoscut şi apreciat la valoarea sa reală.
Dumnezeu să-l păzească şi să se roage pentru cei iubiţi lăsaţi pe pământ.
Sigur, sunt încă multe de scris despre viaţa şi realizările eroinei mele de astăzi, dar mă opresc aici, nu fără a evidenţia valoroasa competenţă împărtăşită în volumul TEMPUS FUGITIV (616 pagini), o culegere de materiale, de învăţătură, de lectură pentru generaţia de acum şi cea de mâine.
Dr. Ruth Guttman Ben Zvi a scris, în mult discutata şi apreciata carte editată de domnia sa, care a văzut lumina tiparului în anul 2008, despre unul dintre cei mai însemnaţi pianişti postbelici, MÎNDRU KATZ.
Merită să scriem despre acest mare pianist care a investit şi în educaţia tinerei generaţii de muzicieni din Israel, devenind un factor important în viaţa artistică a ţării.
Mîndru Katz a avut o mare influenţă asupra dezvoltării şcolii pianistice şi a vieţii muzicale din Israel. Păcat că a fost dat uitării.
Trist, foarte trist, acest GOLIAT al muzicii şi-a încheiat viaţa decedând pe scenă, la vârsta de numai 52 de ani, în timpul unui recital, interpretând Sonata „Furtuna” de Beethoven.
Cele 178 de pagini despre Mîndru Katz din valoroasa lucrare a dr. Ruth Guttman Ben Zvi oferă cititorilor un deosebit prilej pentru a cunoaşte, a pătrunde în viaţa şi fructuoasa activitate a acestei mândrii din tribul nostru.

Gabriel Dickman avea 10 ani când a fost deportat în Transnistria. Pleca împreună cu părinţii şi fraţii. Ochii de copil priveau nelămuriţi convoaiele de evrei îmbarcaţi în trenuri de vite. Fatidic an 1941! Peste trei ani se întorcea la Rădăuţi.
Părinţii aveau pământ în satul Milişăuţi şi deţineau şi o prăvălie.
„Când m-am întors din deportare eram aproape analfabet dar m-am străduit să acumulez cunoştinţe, să recuperez ce ar fi trebuit să învăţ la vremea potrivită, iar în 1952 am reuşit să dau bacalaureatul la Liceul «Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi»” mărturiseşte Gabriel Dickman, având amintiri dragi din perioada de liceu.
Era prieten cu Dorel Moţoc, Iulia Nedelcu, Rodica Mănescu. Nume pe care şi le mai aminteşte. Era prieten cu domnişoarele de la Liceul de Fete. Visa să studieze medicina. Vremurile îi erau încă potrivnice. Avea însă o voce frumoasă, de tenor, aşa că a fost primit la Conserva-torul „Gh. Dima” din Cluj. La gazdă, în Cluj, locuia cu cel care, peste ani, devenea un important chirurg al Rădăuţilor – Puiu Tomorug.
După trei ani de Conservator se prezenta la admitere la Facultatea de Medicină din Cluj. Pasiunea rămânea pasiune! Anatomia învăţată cu profesorul Socaciu de la „Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” îi era de folos. Anul 1961 îl găsea ca medic generalist pentru satele Bilca şi Gălăneşti. Poveştile despre viaţa petrecută la ţară sunt multe, de la bucuria din casa de naşteri până la migala vaccinurilor pentru copii.
A urmat Secundariatul la Spitalul Municipal Rădăuţi. Astăzi Facultatea de Medicină din Cluj poartă numele lui Iuliu Haţeganu, profesorul de medicină internă providenţial pentru activitatea lui Gabriel Dickman. Între timp se căsătorise cu Goldita Heinisch, tot rădăuţeancă, profesoară de matematică, suplinitoare la Bilca.
În anul 1972, a emigrat în Israel. Nu ştia limba ebraică. La fel ca în anii copilăriei s-a străduit să dobândească învăţăturile cu rapiditate. „Am învăţat limba ebraică şi am pornit la lucru. Am ajuns acolo în luna iunie iar în august deja am avut salariu. Am lucrat ca medic internist la o policlinică particulară până în anul 2003 după care m-am pensionat. Avem doi băieţi: Ziv, în vârstă de 51 de ani, este medic veterinar, şi Alon, în vârstă de 41 de ani, este medic ginecolog. Ziv a studiat în Bucureşti. Alon a studiat în Israel şi este specialist în inseminare artificială, la Spitalul Telhasomer din Tel Aviv. Băieţii sunt căsătoriţi şi avem cinci nepoţi. Nepoata mare este ofiţer la marină. Şi băieţii au făcut armată serioasă, la paraşutişti, unităţi de elită” povesteşte Gabriel Dickman.
El, Supravieţuitorul. Învingătorul căruia medicina i-a dat satisfacţii spirituale, dar şi materiale. Îi este dragă o fotografie făcută în America, alături de cei doi fii. Împlinea 80 de ani. Băieţii îşi sărbătoreau şi ei zilele de naştere (unul împlinea 51 de ani, celălalt 41). Gabriel Dickman zâmbeşte. Fantomele trecutului, copilăria întunecată nu l-au îngenuncheat. Acum locuieşte la Haifa, străjuită de inegalabila frumuseţe a muntelui Carmel. Din când în când priveşte cu dor spre Rădăuţi. Poate că odinioară, cu vocea de tenor, cânta pe străzile din Rădăuţi. Căci fără îndoială pe muchia suferinţei poţi trăi cu credinţă şi speranţă. Numai tu îţi poţi înţelege credinţa. Doar a ta este speranţa.(Mălina Anițoaei)

Un om cu har divin
Vasile Oltean este o figură emblematică a Brașovului și își împarte timpul între muzeu și un lăcaș sfânt. În vârstă de 71 de ani, slujitorul Bisericii „Sfântul Nicolae” și-a dedicat aproape jumătate de secol studiului de documente istorice de o valoare uriașă, ascunse decenii în podul parohiei sale.  
Brașoveanul poartă un hram aparte: este preot, muzeograf și director la muzeul „Prima Școală Românească”, filolog, istoric și profesor universitar. Obiectivul turistic are porțile deschise tot anul, iar părintele Olteanu își întâmpină vizitatorii cu zâmbetul pe buze mereu, gata să creeze turiștilor o experiență inedită, o călătorie în timp și o lecție de istorie fascinantă.

„Am fost victima unei situații penibile”
Ocupațiile domnului Oltean se întrepătrund și-și au originea în urma unui eveniment nefericit din istoria României: „Eu sunt victima unei situații penibile din 1949, când Ana Pauker, o spioană a rușilor, a ajuns în Guvernul României și a dat un decret prin care Armata Română trebuia să ardă în fiecare lună 40 de metri liniari de arhivă bisericească.
Preotul de atunci, Ioan Prișcu, le-a urcat în turnul bisericii și a zidit ușa de intrare în turn, fără să spună cuiva. 10 ani cât a durat acea lege a Anei Pauker, ne-am ars toată istoria, pentru că toate documentele noastre erau în biserici”, a dezvăluit Vasile Oltean pentru Evenimentul Zilei.

15 camere pline de izvoare istorice și 43 de cărți scrise
Gazda Muzeului „Prima Școală Românească” a studiat de-a lungul timpului un volum uriaș de documente istorice – majoritatea redactate în alfabetul chirilic, prezentate publicului larg în scrierile părintelui Vasile Oltean. „Abia în 1967, un epitrop s-a urcat în pod să ia o scândură, a tras de ea, s-a dărâmat acea ușiță și a descoperit că erau 6.000 de cărți și 30.000 de documente. Când le-am luat de acolo, le-am așezat în 15 camere pline. Mai am 3 încăperi necercetate, deci 12 le-am terminat”, a declarat Vasile Oltean.
Documentele studiate de către Vasile Oltean reprezintă niște izvoare istorice de o valoare incontestabilă: „Am scris până acum 43 de cărți, ultimele două le-am lansat săptămâna trecută, la Covasna. E vorba despre o monografie a Diaconului Coresi – singura de pe piață, dar și o monografie a lui Mihai Viteazul – cea mai veche monografie din lume – din 1603, scrisă la Nurnberg, Germania.
Fiecare document, fiecare carte este valoroasă. Pentru istorie nu există mai important sau mai puțin important. Am mai găsit manualul din secolul XI, un text precoresian, un text din 1495 în limba română, înainte de scrisoarea lui Neacșu. Am găsit și prima Biblie a rușilor, am găsit prima carte slavă din lume – Cracovia, 1491, am găsit manuscrisul pe piele de ied nenăscut, cu foițe de aur de la Lăpușneanu – Codex Aureus, toate cărțile școlii ardelene, am toate Bibliile românești. Biblia lui Șerban Cantacuzino – 1688, Biblia de la Blaj – 1797, Biblia de la Buzău – 1856, Biblia de la Paris, a lui Ion Heliade Rădulescu – 1858… Acum am găsit, de curând, o Biblie tipărită la Petersburg de ruși, în limba română – 1818. E o colecție extraordinară”.

Capcanele istoriei
Vasile Oltean spune că istoria predată în școli conține multe dezinformări și vine și cu exemple în acest sens: „Cum să fiu de acord cu istoria învățământului, care spune că școala asta este din secolul XVI?! Am documentele construirii ei din secolul XV. Între timp, am găsit notat în Bula Papală (n.r. – document papal) a lui Bonifacio al XIX-lea, care vorbea despre această școală la 1392 – publicată în a 39-a carte a mea, tradusă din limba latină”.

Controversele imnului național
Imnul României este un alt subiect pe care Vasile Oltean l-a abordat în decursul anilor, a cărui istorie ascunde capcane, spune el: „Aceasta este una dintre cele mai mari nedumeriri ale mele! Am scris până acum opt ediții ale istoriei imnului <<Deșteaptă-te, române!>>.
Toată lumea știe că Anton Pann este autor. De fapt, autorul imnului, a liniei melodice, este Gheorghe Ucenescu, din Șcheii Brașovului!
Eu am avut o biografie a lui, în care povestește cum l-a compus aici, în grădină, de față cu Bălcescu și Alecsandri.
Andrei Mureșanu, care îi era prieten și care a asistat, i-a spus <<Vino și duminică, și-ți fac niște versuri!>>”.

În opinia părintelui de la „Sfântul Nicolae”, imnul compus de Ciprian Porumbescu trebuia utilizat și în prezent: „Noi trebuia să rămânem cu primul imn, <<Tricolorul>>. Cuvintele de pe vremea lui Ceaușescu le puteam înlocui și aveam cel mai frumos imn.
Cel al albanezilor știți care e? <<Pe-al nostru steag>>, al lui Ciprian Porumbescu!
Imnul evreilor e <<Cucuruz cu frunza-n sus>>, al lui Ciprian Porumbescu.
Noi l-am aruncat la coșul de gunoi, nu se mai cântă pe nicăieri. Iar cel pe care-l avem acum nu este imn, ci cântec de înmormântare. Linia melodică este compusă pe o octavă foarte joasă. Versurile lui Mureșanu sunt frumoase, înălțătoare, dar muzica este tristă”.

Munca pe care o depune Vasile Oltean este una asiduă, având în vedere faptul că multe dintre documentele pe care le studiază sunt într-o stare avansată de degradare:
„Sunt cărți care îți iau o oră-două, o lună, doi ani. Depinde de carte și de dificultatea ei. Manualul secolul XI îl studiez de 10 ani și am de lucru la el. La cartea cu Mihai Viteazul am lucrat doi ani.
Când vorbim despre timp, e relativ, pentru că eu lucrez la mai multe. Am 5 cărți la tipar. Acum lucrez la o carte de 2.000 de pagini scrisă în chirilică, scrisă groaznic, foarte greu de descifrat. Sunt cărți în slavă, greacă, latină sau română, scrisă în alfabetul chirilic”.

Vădit un om cu har divin, Vasile Oltean a oferit mai multe detalii despre ultima sa carte, scrisă în baza unor documente redactate de niște cronicari germani: „Monografia lui Mihai Viteazul am tradus-o toată, o cronică de 700 de pagini. M-a uimit această cronică prin corectitudinea celor care au scris-o – un ungur și doi nemți. Nu-l critică, dar nici nu-l laudă. Notează ce s-a întâmplat în fiecare zi, ca o cronologie foarte obiectivă. Cu siguranță cei care au scris-o erau în preajma lui, pentru că sunt amănunte zilnice.
Ediția mea are 1.000 de pagini, deci am satisfacția că-l cunosc pe Mihai Viteazul poate mai bine ca pe tatăl meu. Nu l-au criticat pe domnitorul nostru. Nu s-au stabilit asupra lui mai multe.
În cronica despre care vă spun – prima din lume, Mihai Viteazul apare în context universal cu toate personalitățile din vremea aceea și evenimentele care s-au petrecut la Viena, în Muntenia, Transilvania. E o viziune foarte largă. Rudolf, Pașa Hasan sunt în cartea respectivă, în contextul evenimentelor de atunci. Tot ceea ce se întâmpla în lume. Asta pentru mine este o mare surpriză. Imaginea lui este de <<Mihai-Eroul>>. Apare ca un cioban, foarte fain portretul. Nu îl laudă, ci spun ce s-a întâmplat. Apare ca un conducător de oști bine pus la punct, pozitiv. M-a surprins corectitudinea neamțului, care nu interpretează, ci spune exact ce s-a întâmplat”.
